Following an end-of-term school ceremony, the American boy Bobby decides to go with his friend Akkun into the mountains outside their village, to a place perfect for a secret base. On the way they stop into a mysterious amusement park. They have fun there, but are attacked and cannot leave. Falling in with some other children who are also lost there, they fend off a number of attacks, and gradually learn the truth behind the facility.

Rumi's met a lot of guys through her job, and it's probably fair to assume that most of them could be said to have some sort of problem, but a man who literally turns into a beast when he gets turned on may be outside of this perky call girl's field of expertise. Here, they visit the "Country of Birdcages," a seemingly peaceful country where people and birds live together, each person having a bird companion. After a boy named Koruri confuses Syaoran and Sakura for "bodyguards" and attacks them, they learn that the king of the country possesses a mysterious power. Princess Tomoyo, Koruri, and the other oppressed citizens, having had their birds taken from them, live in hiding within the forest. In order to take back Sakura's feather, Syaoran and the others stand up against the scheming king.

Man with balls on hands and feet is the name of the video series containing three films. The two first, Man on ice (1998) and Man on water (1999) shows a man venturing on the physical contradictory; to stand straight up on an ice or a water surface, with balls attached to hands and feet. In the third, Man on air (2001), the support obtained by friction is altered with a heavy stream of air. Through this very simple and obviously impossible combination of hard, spherical forms contradicting the ice, the water and the air stream, an excruciating yet human situation is stressed.
